Don’t fight sin yourself.
Foreword
Sin is a battle that no one can win in their own strength. If you try to overcome it yourself, you will lose. But in Christ Yeshua the victory has already been won. He is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30–31). Every time temptation comes, remind yourself: What would Yeshua do? If He would not do it, stop immediately. And if you stumble, declare: “I am the righteousness of God in Yeshua my Lord.“ For there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1–2). His blood has paid for all sins—past, present and future— that is grace. But grace is not a license to keep on sinning. Willful disobedience insults the Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:26–29). Therefore count yourself dead to sin, but alive to God (Romans 6:11) through Lord Yeshua. This article shows how you can walk free from sin: not by struggling in weakness, but by living out of Lord Yeshua’s power. In Him you are more than a conqueror, clothed with His righteousness and called to a holy life. Live according to the law and not under the law,
The Power of Yeshua: Not You, but Him
- Every time temptation comes, simply ask yourself: “What would Yeshua do?”
If the answer is that He would not do it, stop immediately. - And if you are already in the middle of sin, speak out loud:
- “I am the righteousness of God in Yeshua my Lord.”
- Then stop immediately. Not in your own strength, but in His strength.
- For Yeshua says:
“I am without sin. And you are in Me. So you are too.”
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 (HSV)
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification and redemption,
31 so that, as it is written: Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.
Do not try to fight or overcome sin yourself… you will lose. Let Lord Yeshua fight for you. Through Him you will always be a conqueror. Every time you are tempted to sin, ask yourself: what would Lord Yeshua do (WWJD)? If the answer is No, don’t do it. If you are in sin, speak out loud and clearly: “I am the righteousness of God in Lord Yeshua” and stop sinning immediately.
Remember this principle every time you are tempted. Lord Yeshua came to earth to set you free from sin. In the flesh you are weak; that is why you keep falling into the temptation to sin. Lord Yeshua has already freed you from sin and from condemnation, you are completely free from sin. He did not die only up until your next sin. He died for all your sins—past, present and future. You are in Him, and He in you, and Father God in us both. You have already died for your sins. Whoever is dead is rightfully free from sin. Remember that! Lord Yeshua is without sin. Therefore so are you. You are dead to the world and alive through the Spirit in Lord Yeshua.
Romans 8:1-2 (HSV)
1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.

John 3:18 (HSV)
18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
1 John 1:9 (HSV)
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
For example, whereas before you used to commit the same sin six times a day, you will find that you sin less and less, and eventually you will notice that you no longer have the urge to do it. In the future you may sin again, but do not let satan fill your heart and mind with guilt and make you feel like a hypocrite before the Father. Begin again and fight him as described above.
However, when you knowingly and willingly commit sin without the intention to change or become a new person, you sin against the body of Christ. That is the mortal sin. Unforgivable. Therefore sin no more. For if you sin knowingly and willingly, look what happens:
Hebrews 10:26-29 (HSV)
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
28 Anyone who has rejected the law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 How much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
Live your life in the firm conviction that you are always righteous in Lord Yeshua. Our Father no longer condemns you.
In Him He will remember your sins no more. As Father God loves Lord Yeshua, He also loves you.
Remember: as Lord Yeshua is today in heaven, so are you in the world.
1 John 4:17 (HSV)
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
YOU ARE FOREVER FREE FROM SIN.
LIVE ACCORDING TO THE LAW, NOT UNDER THE LAW

Romans 6:1-15 (HSV)
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may increase?
2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
