Foreword
There are two images of the Messiah: one true and one false. Throughout the centuries, believers have been confronted with a religious construct that obscured the view of the true Jewish Messiah. Within the Roman Catholic tradition and todays churches, Jesus is presented as God Himself, part of a triune god, seated on the throne and worthy of worship. The Bible, however, paints a different picture. The Jewish Messiah Yeshua is the Son of God, not the Father Himself. He does not seek worship for Himself but returns all honor to the One who sent Him—“God the Father.” As High Priest, He sits at the right hand of God’s throne and teaches us to serve “God the Father” alone. Lord Yeshua acknowledges: “The Father is greater than I” (John 14:28). The question of who the true Messiah is strikes at the very heart of the Gospel. Miracles, traditions, or human doctrines are no guarantee of truth; the Bible warns that many believers will be deceived (Matthew 7:21–23; 2 Thessalonians 2:11). This article therefore calls for a renewed reflection on faith: Rediscover Who the true Biblical Messiah is: Jesus Christ, born out of human tradition, or Yeshua, who was subordinate, obedient, and pointed to the only true God? Rediscovering the true Messiah.
Two Messiahs

A Roman Catholic Jesus is described as being divine Himself, receiving worship, and sitting directly on the throne in heaven. This view aligns with the doctrine of the Trinity, which places the Son as equal to the Father.

- A Jewish Yeshua, however, is presented as the Son of God who is distinct from the Father Click: He does not receive worship but gives it to God, sits at the right hand of the throne instead of on it, and serves as High Priest for the Father rather than Himself. He acknowledges that the Father is greater and will ultimately return all authority to Him.

This sets the foundation for the rest of the text: the key question is not just who the Messiah is, but which version of the Messiah is true according to Scripture.
WHICH ONE IS THE TRUE MESSIAH?
Scriptures and Warnings
Matthew 7:22–23 and 2Thess 2:11 are two texts that are very closely related.
Matthew 7:22-23(NKJV)
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 (NKJV)
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness
Matthew 7:22 is about believers who have done many miracles and signs in the name of a Messiah. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 shows that the true Biblical Messiah will declare to these people, “I know you not.” Who is this person in whose name the miracles and signs have occurred? Surely it’s not the one who says to them, “I don’t know you”?
The following concerns them, from verse Math 7:22:
Matthew 13:13-14
Therefore I speak to them in parables, because they see not, though they see, nor hear, though they hear, neither understand them.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, saying, “By hearing, you will hear, but you will not understand; and by seeing, you will see, but you will not perceive.”
These verses directly connect to Chapter “Two Messiachs”: the Roman Catholic Jesus performing miracles could mislead people into thinking they follow the true biblical Messiah. The warning is that external signs alone do not equal truth or salvation, which highlights the contrast with Lord Yeshua, who is obedient to God the Father and does everything in The Name of God The Father.
The Great Deception
The other verse (2 Thess 2:11) is about the powerful error and lie that would be sent to those who believe and those who are lost.
The believers from Matthew 7 say, “In Your name we have done miracles and signs … yet, the true Biblical Messiah says to them, “I never knew you. “Who then is this Messiah in whose name these believers were able to perform so many signs and miracles, and still the true Jewish Hebrew Messiah Yeshua says to them, “I never knew you”?
The answer is shocking but true: Jesus, the Catholic Messiah. Indeed, it is a profound and potent illusion.
This deception is described as “powerful” because it combines religious authority with visible signs of divine power, which naturally misleads many people into believing they follow God.
Matthew 7:22-23 demonstrates that miracles or prophesying are not proof of righteousness or true discipleship. Genuine recognition by Yeshua depends on obedience to God the Father and alignment with His truth, not merely external acts.
The term “Catholic Messiah” here refers to the figure venerated as divine within the framework of the Catholic Church, who receives worship and is placed on the throne in heaven—contrasting with the Hebrew Yeshua, who serves the Father.
The text emphasizes that the deception is systemic and institutional, meaning that many has been misled for generations because the illusion of legitimacy (miracles, teachings, public authority) is combined with the appearance of true divinity.
Because Roman Catholics had a monopoly on reading and teaching the Bible for centuries, this deception has continued for centuries. Now that we have all the information at our disposal via the internet, the truth is coming to light.
This explains why historical believers might have been unaware of the difference between the Catholic Jesus and Jewish Yeshua, and why the early Church did not detect the deception for centuries.
The Role of the Early Church
The early church, which at that time only consisted of illiterate believers, did not see this deception for centuries! For centuries, the Catholic Church had the exclusive right to read, teach, and preach the gospel. William Tyndale, for example, was executed for translating scripture into common English. Satan has been deceiving people from the beginning. He has crept into the church through the pagan Catholic Church and pretends to be an angel of light. It walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, but is not a duck… it is a cuckoo bird. A sheep in wolf’s clothing. In this way, Satan receives the much-desired attention, worship, and honor (Isa 14:12-14) he craves … in the church, of all places!
The early Church’s structure gave the clergy centralized authority over scripture interpretation. This meant that ordinary believers often could not read or question church teachings, leaving them vulnerable to misinterpretation or deception.
The metaphor of “duck versus cuckoo bird” emphasizes that appearances can be misleading. A movement or figure can resemble truth or holiness but still carry a corrupt agenda.
The reference to Isaiah 14:12-14 links Satan’s desire for worship to the deception in the Church: even in a holy institution, false worship can be directed toward a counterfeit figure, not the true God.
This illustrates why the deception endured: it was both institutional and spiritual, embedded in church authority and reinforced by fear of punishment (like Tyndale’s execution). Ordinary believers were effectively cut off from independent access to the Scriptures.
Differences Between Jesus and Yeshua
Jesus and Yeshua differ significantly in character traits; this is not merely a cultural or linguistic name change (if only it were that simple!) but rather reflects fundamentally different conceptions of the Messiah. If “Jesus” were simply a translation of “Yeshua” with identical attributes, there would be no controversy. However, that is far from the case.
In Christian theology, Jesus is depicted as God Himself, who permits worship. In contrast, Yeshua, the Messiah, is the Son who worships God the Father and instructs believers to do the same (John 17:3; Matthew 4:10). These distinctions highlight profound differences in character, not just in names.
While the name “Jesus” supposedly originates linguistically from “Yeshua,” the Roman Catholic gave “Jesus” attributes—such as sitting on God’s throne and receiving worship—that true Jewish Messiah Yeshua does not have. In other words, the transformation from “Yeshua” to “Jesus” represents more than a name change; it reflects a human reinterpretation of the Messiah’s godspel, nature and role in the godspel.
Lord Yeshua’s obedience to “God the the Father” demonstrates a relational hierarchy: the Son serves, worships, and ultimately submits authority back to “God the Father” (1 Corinthians 15:24–28).
Jesus Christ, who is worshipped as God Himself by Roman Catholics and virtually all other denominations, is a human theological addition to the gospel and deviates from the teaching of the true Jewish Hebrew Messiah Yeshua.
This distinction is crucial for understanding the subsequent deception: believers may think they follow the true Jewish Yeshua but are actually aligned with a figure whose attributes differ fundamentally from Scripture.
This chapter now not only contrasts the Messiahs but also explains why the difference matters, linking character, worship, and authority to the broader narrative of deception.

The Fruit of Catholic Teaching
The false Roman Catholic Jesus Christ has deceived believers hopelessly for centuries. The influence of certain interpretations of Jesus’ teachings over generations has contributed not only to challenges within the modern church but also to widespread spiritual confusion.
Centuries of Catholic teaching have produced pedophiles and other moral corruption within the Church. As the True Messiah, Yeshua, teaches in Matthew 7, “If the fruit is bad, the tree is also bad.” The visible corruption is a reflection of deeper spiritual deception: followers of Jesus who have adopted false teachings may appear righteous outwardly, yet they are misled about the true Messiah and the path to God.
Moreover, these misguided believers often adapt to worldly ideologies, aligning with secular movements and so-called “woke churches,” further amplifying the misdirection. By blending religious authority with cultural trends, they obscure the original message of Yeshua and present a distorted gospel to the world.
Historically, the centralized authority of the Catholic Church prevented ordinary believers from accessing Scripture directly. This lack of access allowed institutional power to shape belief in ways that diverged from Yeshua’s teachings. For centuries, ordinary Christians had no means to discern the difference between the Catholic Jesus and the Hebrew Messiah Yeshua.
Spiritually, this demonstrates that true discernment requires looking beyond external signs, miracles, or the apparent authority of religious institutions. The true measure is alignment with Yeshua’s obedience to God the Father and his call to worship the Father alone. Only through this alignment can believers avoid being misled by deception, no matter how convincing or powerful it may appear.
In short, the “bad fruit” of centuries of false teaching is both moral corruption and spiritual blindness, revealing the profound consequences of following a counterfeit Messiah. The challenge for every believer is to distinguish between outward appearances of holiness and the truth of Yeshua’s example and obedience.
Marks of the True Disciples of Yeshua
Disciples of the true Jewish Hebrew Messiah Yeshua live differently from those who follow the false Roman Catholic Jesus. Their lives are defined not by outward appearances or public recognition, but by a sincere alignment with Lord Yeshua’s teachings and obedience to God the Father.
True disciples do not call themselves “Christians,” a name that has been adopted by those who follow the corrupted teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Instead, they should identify themselves as the chosen ones or saints, acknowledging their distinct calling and commitment to God.
They follow Lord Yeshua, the true Jewish Messiah, who consistently taught worship of God the Father alone. In their lives, worship is not given to the Son but directed entirely to the Father, reflecting the model of Lord Yeshua’s obedience and devotion. These disciples live in accordance with the law—not out of obligation or fear, but out of love and commitment to God. By doing so, they demonstrate that the law guides their hearts, not merely their external actions.
Moreover, true disciples understand that their life is no longer their own. Lord Yeshua Adonai lives through them, making them holy, chosen people—children of God the Father Almighty. Their spiritual identity is rooted in the Father, not in human institutions or worldly recognition.
These disciples love and support fellow believers while avoiding alliances with those who actively reject Lord Yeshua or oppose His teachings. They do not compromise their faith to gain acceptance from unbelievers; instead, they remain steadfast in the truth of the Gospel. Their fellowship is built on mutual devotion to the Father and to Lord Yeshua, recognizing each other as true brothers and sisters in faith.
Finally, they are baptized in the name of LordYeshua, not the false Roman Catholic Jesus. This act signifies their commitment to the Jewish Messiah and distinguishes them from those misled by centuries of counterfeit teaching. Through these practices, they safeguard their faith, ensuring that their lives reflect the truth, obedience, and worship that Yeshua exemplified.
There is only one God: the God and Father of Yeshuah HaMashiach HaNotzri. True worship is directed solely to Him, for He alone is the Creator, Sustainer, and sovereign ruler over all.
The Holy Spirit is not a separate entity but is fully the Spirit of God the Father. Likewise, God the Father is the Holy Spirit. They are not three separate beings; rather, the Spirit is the active presence and power of the one true God. Any teaching that divides God into separate entities is a counterfeit and does not reflect the truth revealed through Yeshua.
The doctrine of the Trinity, as it has been taught in much of Christianity, is therefore a counterfeit teaching. It obscures the simplicity and unity of God and can mislead believers into worshiping a concept rather than the one true God revealed in Scripture.
Understanding God in this way restores clarity to the life and teachings of Yeshua. Yeshua himself consistently pointed to the Father as the only one worthy of worship, emphasizing obedience, reverence, and submission to God alone. True faith, therefore, involves aligning one’s life with the Father, following Yeshua as the obedient Son, and rejecting any teachings that elevate another figure to divine status alongside God.
By recognizing the oneness of God and the singular authority of the Father, believers can avoid the spiritual deception that has misled countless generations. They are able to worship authentically, live obediently, and maintain a relationship with God that is rooted in truth rather than ritual, hierarchy, or the misrepresentations of human institutions.
There is only one God: the God and Father of Yeshuah HaMashiach HaNotzri.
The Holy Spirit is “God the Father,” and “God the Father” is the Holy Spirit.
They are not separate entities.
The Trinity is counterfeit teaching.
